Oil Dielectric Test Sets measure the dielectric breakdown voltage of insulating oils in electrical equipment like transformers and capacitors. By applying controlled AC voltage to an oil sample, these test sets detect breakdown points, helping identify issues such as moisture contamination that can lead to equipment failure.
