Transformer Winding Deformation Tester is designed to assess and analyze the winding deformation in power transformers rated 6kV and above. This advanced instrument uses the frequency response analysis (FRA) method to detect winding deformations caused by faults such as inter-turn short circuits, coil displacements due to electromagnetic forces, and mechanical impacts during transportation. By comparing frequency response curves, it accurately determines the extent of transformer deformation.
