The Cable Fault Locating System is a specialized piece of equipment used to detect, locate, and diagnose faults in electrical cables. These faults can include short circuits, open circuits, insulation breakdowns, and other imperfections that can disrupt the normal flow of electricity. The system is vital for maintaining the reliability and safety of power distribution networks.

Multiple Pulse Cable Fault Tester

  1. Fault Detection: Capable of identifying various faults including open circuit, short circuit, low resistance, high resistance leakage, and high resistance flashover faults.
  2. Cable Path and Depth Testing: Measures the buried path and depth of power cables.
  3. Wave Propagation Speed Measurement: Determines the speed of wave propagation in any known length of cable.
