The CT/PT Analyzer is a compact, mobile device designed to evaluate both current and voltage transformers, whether for protection or measurement purposes. It’s ideal for both laboratory and field testing.
For CT (Current Transformer) testing requirements:
For PT (Potential Transformer) testing requirements:
Working Power Supply:
CT Ratio Accuracy:
PT Ratio Accuracy:

The Variable Frequency Volt-Ampere Characteristic Tester is comprehensive in its functionality. It not only meets the testing requirements for various CTs (such as protection, metering, and TP types) in terms of excitation characteristics (i.e., volt-ampere characteristics), transformation ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, secondary load, ratio difference, and angular difference, but it’s also suitable for testing the excitation characteristics, transformation ratio, polarity, secondary winding resistance, ratio difference, and angular difference of various PT electromagnetic units.
The tester automatically provides parameters such as knee-point voltage/current, 10% (5%) error curve, Accuracy Limit Factor (ALF), Instrument Security Factor (FS), secondary time constant (Ts), remanence coefficient (Kr), saturated and unsaturated inductance for CTs and PTs.
The testing complies with various transformer standards like GB1208 (equivalent to IEC60044-1), GB16847 (equivalent to IEC60044-6), and GB1207. Depending on the type and grade of the transformer, the device automatically selects which standard to use for testing.
This Variable Frequency Volt-Ampere Characteristic Tester, based on the advanced low-frequency testing principle, can handle CT tests with knee-points as high as 30KV.
The tester boasts a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing interface with a full Chinese graphical display.
The device can store up to 2000 sets of test data without data loss even after power outages. After testing, data can be transferred to a PC via a USB drive, where software can analyze the data and generate WORD reports.
Testing is straightforward and convenient. With just one click, the CT direct resistance, excitation, transformation ratio, and polarity tests can be completed. Moreover, except for the load test, all other CT tests use the same wiring method.
The Variable Frequency Volt-Ampere Characteristic Tester is portable, with a device weight of less than 9Kg.
This analyzer ensures comprehensive assessment and validation of transformer performance.
